Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the sharpingknives.com website and the iOS applications published under the Sharpingknives name (the "Apps"), operated by Mario Gabriele Sabbatini as a sole trader based in Italy (the "Studio").

By accessing the website or installing any App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the Apps.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use any Sharpingknives product. Some Apps may require a higher minimum age as stated on their App Store listing. By using a Sharpingknives product, you confirm you meet the applicable age requirement.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Studio grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the Apps on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by the Studio.

3. Subscriptions and in-App purchases

Some Apps offer optional paid features through auto-renewing subscriptions or one-time in-App purchases. All such purchases are handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store. The applicable price, billing cycle, and renewal terms are shown inside the App at the moment of purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, through your Apple ID settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with its standard policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Apps in any way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Apps, except as expressly permitted by law.
• Use the Apps to transmit malware, perform automated abuse, or interfere with their normal operation.
• Resell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Apps.

5. User-generated content

You retain ownership of any content you create, save, or upload through the Apps (e.g. saved recipes, workouts, resumes, alarms). You grant the Studio a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you. The Studio does not claim any rights over your content beyond what is strictly necessary to run the Apps.

6. AI features

Some Apps include features that rely on third-party AI providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic). Output produced by such features is generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it, especially for high-stakes purposes (career, health, finance, legal).

7. No medical, legal, or financial advice

Sharpingknives Apps in the fitness, productivity, and lifestyle space are informational tools, not professional advice. MinimalFit, Reveille, Toque, Hyre, and any future App are not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian, coach, recruiter, lawyer, or financial advisor. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions that affect your health, career, or finances.

8. Availability and modifications

The Studio strives to keep the Apps and the website available and up to date, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time. Material changes that affect paid features will be communicated inside the App or by email where possible.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Apps at any time by uninstalling them. The Studio may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Apps in a way that puts other users, the Studio, or third parties at risk.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Apps and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Studio's total cumulative liability arising out of or in connection with the Apps and the website shall not exceed the amount you paid to the Studio (through Apple) in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or €50 if no amount was paid.

11. Intellectual property

"Sharpingknives", the Sharpingknives word mark, the App names (Reveille, MinimalFit, Hyre, Toque), and all related logos, designs, and content are owned by Mario Gabriele Sabbatini. All rights reserved.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Italy, save for consumers' mandatory rights to bring proceedings in their country of residence under EU consumer law.

13. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Apps or the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
